EST Art comes from the portability and speed of human thoughts during a period of discovery of Extra Sensory Intelligence ESI in Singapore in the late 1980s. This art series can be defined as any artwork that carries high speed portability of thoughts and thinking, with its techniques resembling the ease and speed of articulation, design, execution and implementation of concepts, abstracts, feelings and details.

EST was recorded in art as early as 1989 through many sketches created in Singapore. The Frontrunner, Portrait of ET was painted 3 months after the return from Batam. Exactly 1 year after the Indonesian incidence, the Portrait of Janet was drawn thereby confirming the existence of sensory intelligence. The artist left for Hong Kong in 1991 to publish a book about EST. After about 2 years, he returned home and started to paint again. Many sketches were produced drawing synergy with the discovery of ESI. The Portraits of Sandra, Straw Soldier and many more signaled the return of EST Art throughout 1995. 3 works, Portraits of I Am and The Heroine and The Stallion were also completed in end 1995.

Then he left for Australia in 1996 to set up a new business. The Portrait of Wusze was the last work before he moved into Chinese poems and Visual Arts Etymology Series.

About the Poet and Artist

SOH ENG SIM: Soh Eng Sim, poet, artist and calligrapher, born on 22 July 1951, is holding a Master of Education degree with concentration in Administration, Planning and Social Policy from the University of Harvard, USA. Being an autodidactic artist, he has created some 600 works of art, 800 poetry and 1600 novel and new symmetrical calligraphy. As an artist, he had travelled and worked in many countries including Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong (China), Australia and Singapore over the last twenty five years. His art business is growing, SOHIST EST Singapore is currently marketing and supporting sales worldwide. During his free time, he continues to create works of art and poetry from his studio in Singapore. He was the first artist worldwide to hold a great number of exhibitions on Extra Sensory Intelligence ESI and its art. He believes in bringing ESI safely to the planet and propelling its productivity forward in the years ahead.
